We are delighted to invite you to the final event of the Grundtvig project ECHOE – Education for Heritage, Outdoor Education, organized at Bucharest under the title „The Role of Adult Education in Heritage Policies”, on 11en of January 2013, by the project partner Romanian Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Center of Professional Training in Culture. The event will be hosted in the building of the Romanian National Library from Bd. Unirii no.22, 3rd floor, room 315, Aula entrance.

The conference „The role of adult education in heritage policies” aims to debate ways for the integration and inter-relation of the two fields – adult education and heritage -, the mutual benefits resulting from this approach and the impact it has on the social recognition and relevance of cultural and natural heritage.

Financed through the Lifelong learning programme of the European Union, ECHOE project approaches the blending of education for and about heritage with open air education, with the purpose to create more learning opportunities for adults and to bring them closer to the natural and cultural heritage. The project is addressed to professionals from the fields of heritage, adult education, heritage sites managers, providers of cultural, educational and touristic services, representatives of the local, regional and national administration, but also to everyone interested in the subject. In the frame of the event will deliver presentations and will take part in the debate invited experts and representitives of the partner organisations: the Center of Professional Training in Culture (Ro), Centro Universitario Europeo per I Beni Culturali (It), Landcommanderij Alden Biesen (Be),  Moderno AS (Ro), the Ministry of Culture (Ro), Dkommer interkulturelle personalentwicklung (Au) and Menderes Town National Education Directorate (Tr).
